CLASS
POLICY:
It
is advisable to sign up for classes at least 1 week before the
class date.
Class
dates may be subject to change.
We
reserve the right to cancel any class due to insufficient amount
of sign-ups.
If we cancel a class, you will receive a refund
or voucher for another class.
If
you need to cancel: As a courtesy to our teachers and
students, we have a 7 working days cancellation policy
(exceptions for Special Events). Refunds/Credits
cannot be issued for cancellations less than 7 working days.
Please call at least 7 days
prior to your class start date to transfer fees to another date,
or to request a refund.

Develop
quilting confidence on your new JEWEL from basic set-up to loading a quilt
and where to go from there.
There will be two
different sessions with ample time for questions in both.
Session 1 will give
you the tools to setup and get comfortable with the maintenance, oiling
and cleaning; the controls, stitch regulator and manual
settings; needles – sizes & changing; and threading the machine and
filling the bobbin & adjusting the tension on both!
Yes, you will
learn to adjust the tension with NO FEAR!
Also included will be how to practice effectively” (PPP);
making practice muslins and hints &
tips on things to do and NOT to do to get you off to a great start.
Session 2 will help
you take your confidence up a notch with Quilt top & backing prep;
loading of backing, batting & top; how to deal with problem
areas on quilts, such as “friendly borders” (they wave at you) and
those “D” cup, pouchie blocks and more.
We will also be discussing
the wonderful thread choices available and some of the “Tools of the
Trade”: micro-handles, ruler base, horizontal-thread holder,
rulers and templates, marking pens, stencils and chalk, and more.
